The Merchant House shares the love this Ramadan through Bahrain Food Bank

Continuing its yearly tradition, The Merchant House has once again partnered with Bahrain Food Bank to share meals with the underprivileged members of the community. The partnership is one of a long line of initiatives by the hotel to promote sustainability and uplift the community. Justin Kim, General Manager of The Merchant House, commented, “We see ourselves as an integral part of the Bahrain community. The holy month of Ramadan always inspires us to give back and share our bounty with the less privileged members of our society. We are genuinely humbled to work with Bahrain Food Bank to distribute specially prepared meals so that everybody gets to partake in this season of generosity.” The five-star boutique hotel located in the heart of Manama welcomes guests to experience the essence of Ramadan with a family-style iftar menu including delicious bites such as Panko Shrimp’s Salad, Hunkar Begendi (slow-cooked lamb shank with aubergine mash), and Chicken Adana Kebab. Guests can also experience the Ghabga high-tea which features all the Ramadan classics such as marinated chicken sandwiches, Arabic feast, and decadent sweets. Families and friends looking to stay a while longer after iftar are welcome to join Ali AlRasheed for a live Qanun performance. In a safe, socially responsible environment, and meaningful way, the Merchant House creates an experience of togetherness where friends and family can break their fast and spread generosity through the initiative with  Bahrain Food Bank.
